Michigan Leadership Fellows

Michigan's Leadership for Equity and Transformation Fellowship is a collaboration between Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) and Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) designed to create a pipeline of future principals who are equity-minded, transformative leaders who will advance postsecondary educational access and success. This 18-month project-based fellowship is grounded in the 4 Dimensions of Leadership from the Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) to address overarching questions of how school leadership can ensure equitable postsecondary education opportunities for all Michigan students.

  • Application opens November 6, 2023, and closes December 15, 2023. 
  • The inaugural cohort will be notified by December 22, 2023. 
  • The fellowship will begin in January 2024 and conclude in June 2025.
