As the use of Restorative Practices continues to gain traction, the demand for information and training about these concepts and processes is growing exponentially. The Michigan Restorative Practices Symposium is designed to meet that demand. A partnership between MASSP and MIRPTC, the inaugural conference was held in August 2018 at Eastern Michigan University with great success.
Participants will learn from both experts and fellow educators about:
- The impacts of zero tolerance and rationales for 2016 PA 360.
- Restorative concepts and practices.
- The components of a successful program.
- Resources for taking the next steps in their school or district.
