Classroom management is one of the critical ingredients of effective teaching. Effective lesson design, purposeful instruction, and student achievement are built on the foundation of effective classroom management. Knowing effective classroom managers are not born, but made, it is critical to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to create and sustain a learning-oriented classroom culture. In this webinar series, participants come to understand and use specific classroom management techniques that impact student behavior and learning. Each of the six sessions (3:30-4:30 pm) will focus on specific mindsets, classroom norms and procedures, learning routines, disciplinary intervention, and restorative practices that address challenges faced by classroom teachers. In these interactive sessions, participants will engage in shared reading, discussion and problem-solving.

Who Should Attend

This series is for teachers who manage classrooms and the leaders who support these teachers

This course is right on the mark as far as providing both a background and activities to help teachers better understand effective classroom management techniques. I highly recommend the course for any new teacher or any teacher that is struggling with post-pandemic classroom behaviors.
