Session 3: Communication

Establishing a culture of positive communication is a core skill of the principalship. As the school CEO, you are constantly messaging with your students, staff, and community. How is your message affirming your school culture? How is the message being received and where? And, how can you use planning to ensure that when a crisis happens and you need to communicate, you can focus on the what rather than the how. This session will help you develop communication skills and a plan of action.

Who Should Attend?

Building principals, assistant principals and Deans who are in their first 3 years of administration or new to a school building/district
