5D+ Rater Reliability training provides opportunities for observers and evaluators to gain rater reliability certification by demonstrating accuracy in rating indicators within the 5D+ Rubric for Instructional Growth and Teacher Evaluation. These sessions engage leaders in discussions of best practices in collecting evidence, analyzing evidence and working from evidence to determine accurate ratings. Through calibration activities that include discussion of evidence with their colleagues, and input from the facilitator, evaluators strengthen their understanding of the precise performance language within the rubric and accuracy in rating each indicator with evidence based reasoning. Additionally, participants strengthen their skills scripting, coding, noticing/wondering, analyzing and providing feedback.
*Note: All six days of 5D+ Framework training and implementation is recommended, but not required.
