During MASSP's webinar on Friday, January 15 we heard from Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian MD, MPH, Senior Public Health Physician with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and Brandy Johnson, Governor Whitmer's education policy advisor about Michigan's new voluntary rapid COVID-19 testing program for schools and the state's goals for returning to in-person instruction. Schools around the state involved in the MHSAA Football and Volleyball state tournaments have been piloting Rapid Response testing. During this webinar we will hear from Principals and Athletic Directors who have been involved with this process: how it works, what they have learned as well as their thoughts about the potential of using Rapid Response Testing with their entire school population.
