The MiSSG portal, (Michigan Student Aid: Student Scholarships and Grants), is now accessible for the Academic Year 2024-25. By completing the revised Data Use Agreement (DUA), you can now grant your counselors access to valuable student records, including:
- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) completion data
- TIP (Tuition Incentive Program) eligibility rosters
- Student look-ups
- Michigan Achievement Scholarship qualifier lists
Please note the following key points:
- The MiSSG High School Counselor Portal will be unavailable from Friday, August 16, 2024, and will reopen in early September 2024 for the new academic year.
- The revised DUA includes separate sections with clear definitions for authorized users:
- Section 3: Employees of your high school or ISD/RESA/ESA
- Section 4: Employees of AdviseMI, Michigan College Advising Corp (MCAC), or Michigan State University College Advising Corp (MSUCAC)
- Section 5: Secondary Partners (community organizations, local college access networks, etc.)
- All Data Use Agreements must be completed electronically on an annual basis to avoid processing delays. Please submit them via email to mistudentaid@michigan.gov, signed by the authorizing principal/superintendent.
