MASSP, in partnership with Michigan Virtual, is excited to introduce The Innovative Leaders Network — a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower educational leaders with the tools and insights needed to reimagine our schools. This network is committed to transforming education, ensuring every learner has a limitless future in which each can pursue their passions, fulfill their potential and live a life of purpose. The Network will explore innovative leadership and instructional practices, including personalized learning, flexible learning environments, responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) and social-emotional learning (SEL) that ensure students graduate college and are career ready. Our comprehensive approach includes monthly webinars, in-person events and optional school visits. As artificial intelligence begins to reshape education, join us in this vital endeavor to enhance the rigor, relevance and engagement of learning experiences for all. This no doubt is a time commitment, but as leaders it is imperative to prioritize learning and get back to instructional leadership this school year.
The Vision:
The Network will be a multi-year project. If you can’t join this year there will be an opportunity to join next year.
- Year 1 Theme – Learning/Ramping Up Innovation “Sampler Box” overviews of a wide variety of innovative practices and thinking
- Year 2 Theme – Beginning Implementation and Change Theory
- Each month will include breakout sessions or workshop time where principals can discuss how to apply these ideas in their schools. The goal will be to bring ideas and options back to the school community and to work toward implementation of new practices.
