This is not the news I wanted to share nor the news anyone wants to hear, but unfortunately MASSP’s premier conference- EdCon21 has been cancelled for this coming June. After meeting with the staff at the Grand Traverse Resort and consulting with industry experts and other Ed Orgs in Michigan we determined there are too many unknowns to be able to move forward with the event. We considered a replacement event for the fall but we know what fall looks like for secondary administrators and the virus will require you to be present in your buildings. We have our reservation at the Grand Traverse Resort at the end of June for EdCon22 and we promise that event will be epic! In the meantime we hope to be able to continue to connect and support the membership through our webinars- Leader2Leader, In the Middle With You, New Principal Connect and Regional Legislative Updates. We are planning an all call webinar for the entirety of the membership to highlight MASSP’s accomplishments during the 2020-21 school year and to share plans we have for the year ahead. Once that date is set we will provide more information- we hope you will be able to join us!
