Esports is now FREE!
That’s right, schools can join MHSEL and compete for free! (Pricing FAQ) Now with 10 game titles, there is something for everyone and any student can join a team and help represent their school this spring. Esports is an inclusive opportunity! Reach an untapped student population; more than 45% of students involved in esports haven’t participated in any other school sport or activity. If you haven’t participated in esports or are still gathering information, we invite you to join us for one of our upcoming Esports 101 webinars on January 17 at 4:00 PM or January 24 at 9:30 AM. We will cover how to get started and set up your teams, learn about the season schedule, available games, etc.
But wait…there’s more!
MHSEL has added a 10th game title to our league offerings:Valorant! (View full announcement) This is one of the most popular games at the collegiate level and we are thrilled to provide high school teams the opportunity to participate and compete. For those unfamiliar with Valorant, it’s a 5v5, first-person/hero tactical shooter game. It’s rated T for Teen by ESRB Ratings and requires a great deal of collaborative strategy and communication from teammates to be successful.
