Whether you’re leading middle or high school students—or supporting inclusive play with Unified teams—MHSEL has a place for you. We offer three unique leagues with two exciting seasons (Fall & Spring) for students to compete completely FREE.
- Middle School (grades 6-8):
- Fall Season = Scholastic league to build student athlete skill sets & programs
- Spring Season = Competitive league
- High School (grades 9-12):
- Fall & Spring Seasons = Competitive leagues with post-season game play & in-person state championship event

- MS/HS Enrollment open: NOW
- MS/HS Preseason Starts: 9/8
- MS/HS Preseason Ends: 9/19
- MS/HS Enrollment Deadline: 9/19
- MS/HS Regular Season Starts: 9/22
- HS Regular Season Ends: 11/15
- HS Playoffs Begin: 11/17
- HS In-Person Concluding Event: 12/6 @ Michigan State University
- MS Regular Season Ends: 12/12
