Tom Lietz is the Associate Director of MASSP, where he works with principal leadership development, AI implementation, and teacher feedback and evaluation. Prior to joining MASSP in 2022, he served as principal of Utica High School for nearly a decade, as well as the Head of School at the Utica Academy for International Studies, Associate Principal at Heritage Jr. High, and Director of Chinese Language Programs for Utica Community Schools.
Tom earned his B.A. and M.A. from Wayne State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in K-12 Administration at Michigan State University. He and his wife, also an educator, spend their time with their two kids enjoying reading, theatre, music, politics, coaching and watching youth sports, and traveling.
