Once you have created your Mavin account, now what?  Gain an understanding of how the Mavin platform is organized, learn about the various apps that exist within the platform, and build your vocabulary around Mavin specific terms that will be relevant to every user.  Learn how to modify your user profile, access system generated and school generated content, and learn where the data reports live in the Mavin platform.

During this module participants learn how Mavin “Solution” provides:

  • Introduction to the MAVIN instructor 
  • Mavin terminology introduction
  • Screen to Screen navigation tools
  • An introduction to “Scribe” along with how to introduce “Scribe” (in the Mavin platform) to your school community users
  • An opportunity to determine a personalized Mavin learning plan for educators
  • Upon completion of this module,  including submission of a reflection and Mavin planning statement, 1 SCECH will be issued for certified administrators, counselors and teachers.

What do we have to do to get started with MAVIN Solution?

  • Create a Mavin Teacher/Admin account (using your Google/Microsoft/Yahoo/iCloud credentials) and link to MASSP Preview Site
  • Log into Mavin MASSP demonstration site to become familiar with the mobile interface from the lens of an educator and where content is built and how student responses and other data is accessed within the platform.
